Spacecific is developing Track Your Rocket (TYR) - a standalone and deployable localization system designed to track sounding rockets with exceptional precision. Using advanced Radio Frequency (RF) techniques, inspired by cutting-edge methods from modern communication systems and radio astronomy, TYR delivers accurate, GPS-independent flight data across the entire trajectory. The system is designed to ensure high accuracy, data privacy, and reliability in challenging conditions.
As a spinoff of the Radboud Radio Lab at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Spacecific bridges the gap between advanced radio astronomy techniques and real-world industry applications.
In addition to TYR, we offer tailored engineering services, including consultancy, RF and embedded electronics solutions, and custom-designed sounding rocket payloads.
